Big Eight Returning Stars for 2013 Football Season

Returning All-Conference Players from 2012

20 players return for the 2013 season who made First or Second Team All-Big Eight.

     The Big Eight was one of the most competitive conferences in all of Wisconsin a year ago during the 2012 football season. As a conference, the Big Eight sent five teams to the WIAA State Playoffs a year ago, the most among any other Divison I conference. 

     The Sun Prairie Cardinals also made it all the way to Camp Randall for the state championship but fell just short of the gold ball trophy to Hartland Arrowhead, 35-14. 

     This season, the Big Eight will welcome back 20 individual stars who were named to either the First or Second Team All-Conference lists and a laudry list of other athletes who earned Honorable Mention honors. 

     The lists for each school’s returning All-Conference Players are as follows. 

 

Sun Prairie Cardinals:   2012 Big Eight Champions  (8-0 in Conference, 12-1 Overall) 

  RB Aaron Fischer (Jr in 2012-13 season) 1st Team All-Conference selection 

  WR Michael Marchese (Jr) 1st Team All-Conference selection

  QB Ryan Curran (Jr) 2nd Team All-Conference selection

  DL Craig Evans (Jr) 1st Team All-Conference Defensive selection 

  ILB Mike Garvey (Jr) 1st Team All-Conference Defensive selection

  DB Jeramiah Bradley (Jr) 1st Team All-Conference Defensive selection

  DL Devin Webster (Soph) 2nd Team All-Conference Defensive selection

  ILB Malik Bondon (Jr) 2nd Team All-Conference Defensive selection
